Material Handler- 1st shift/temporary

Job Title: Material Handler Job Description A prominent manufacturer in the Indianapolis area is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for manipulating sheets of metal by bending, cutting, or punching holes as required.

Operate a sit-down forklift efficiently.

Load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving purposes.

Utilize basic Microsoft Excel skills for record-keeping and data entry.

Handle materials with precision and care.

Proficient in operating a sit-down forklift.

Experienced in loading and unloading trucks for shipping and receiving.

Familiar with material handling techniques.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Experience with overhead crane operation.

Work Environment This position is based in a heavy steel manufacturing environment, which can become hot during the summer months. The standard shift is from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a 10-minute paid break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
