Job Description:

• Shift: 07:00-19:00
• Location: 4000 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena TX 77504
• Floor: 2nd floor
• Number of Beds: 26
• Patient Ratios: 1:2

Unit Information:
- Staff Composition:
- Day Shift:

• 1 Charge RN
• 1 Rapid Response RN
• 8 Bedside RNs
• Night Shift: Same as above

- Type of Equipment:
- Mechanical Ventilators

- CRRT

- IABP

- Impella

- EKOS

- EMR: Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Skill Set Required:
- Must have:
- 1-2 years of ICU experience
- Preferred:

• CV experience
• Neuro ICU experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Intubation
• Bedside ECMO Cannulation
• Chest Tube Insertion
• Bedside Tracheostomy
• Central Line Insertions

Best Personality Fit:
- Accountable for actions

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

- ACLS

- BCLS

Floating Area(s):
- CVIMCU and IMCU
Dress Code:
- Royal Blue
Unit Guidelines/Policies:

• Every other weekend shift
• Agencies are not placed on call
