• The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families.

The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs and develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Direct patient care is provided, and patient progress is evaluated.
Coordination of care delivery throughout the patient's episode is essential.
The Registered Nurse develops specialized skills in caring for patients admitted for medical conditions.
Care is provided to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with various medical conditions.
Accountability for patient and family education is expected to assist in understanding self-care beyond hospitalization.

Nursing knowledge and skills are applied in the delivery of care.
