DOSIMETRIST- RADIATION THERAPY- DAY SHIFT (FULL TIME)

Inova Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist of all levels to join this dynamic team. We have openings for full-time, part-time and PRN working 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday day shift. Radiation Therapist Job Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, healthcare team members, supervisors, and outside contacts.

Verifies the proper functioning of linear accelerators, simulators and Computed Tomography machines.

detects unsatisfactory set‑up and/or errors in addition to resolving or reporting such errors to physicians.

Acts as a liaison between physicians and machine staff by utilizing technical expertise for all difficult/complex treatments on various machines.

Radiation Therapist 1 Minimum Qualifications

American Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiation or registry eligible within one year of employment

Radiation Therapist 2 Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or Certification.

Experience: 2 years of experience as a Staff Radiation Therapy department with experience in linear accelerators and patient simulation

American Registered Radiologic Technologist required upon start.
