Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekend availability required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
Support night shift operations with flexibility to work weekends as required
Float to Mother Baby unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
Participate in precepting activities to support orientation and onboarding of new staff when applicable
Required Qualifications
Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS/BCLS, and NRP
LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
Willingness to float between like units and, if required, to additional facilities within the state
Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
Preferred Experience / Skills
Precepting experience in a Labor and Delivery or related Women's Services setting
Familiarity with Epic charting system
Prior experience in an acute care hospital environment
