Travel RN Emergency Room

This position is for a Travel RN in the Emergency Department. The shift will be from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit has a capacity of 39 beds. Unit staffing includes one unit secretary and 2-3 technicians on the floor. The available equipment includes crash carts, level one devices, Alaris pumps, and bedside cardiac monitors. Documentation is done using the MediTech system. Three 12-hour shifts per week are preferred. In rare instances, floating to the ER hold unit may occur when at capacity, typically during summer months. Patient experience guidelines require 30-60 minutes of patient rounding and bedside shift reporting. Advanced skills are needed to assist in intubation and emergency life-saving procedures.
