Physician - Family Medicine - Hospitalist (Full-Time)

Sound Physicians is seeking a Hospital Medicine Physician to join their team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a practice setting at Presbyterian Rust. The provider will work alongside a well-established and diverse team of physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver quality patient care. Well-established team at Presbyterian Rust of 33.5 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers (APP)

Support of a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator

Closed ICU with 10 beds, with 24/7 in-house pulmonary and critical care physicians and intensivists available for support

Uses EPIC EMR and Sound Physicians internal informatics platform

Located in Rio Rancho, a suburban city located just outside of Albuquerque, NM

Responsibilities

Respond to codes, with rapid responses for your patients handled through cross coverage

Manage manageable workload and manageable encounters

Compensation

Day Shift Rate is $1,829

Night Shift Rate 1 (13.5 hours) is $2,372.63

Night 2 (12 hours) is $2,109

Daytime Base Pay of $334,000

Eligible for RVU and Quality bonuses

Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation

12-hour shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Qualifications

Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine

Practicing physician preferred

Authorized to work in the United States
