TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!
Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: October 12, 2026
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend requirement of 12-16 shifts per contract. Floating to other units as needed. Contract lengths of 13-26 weeks available.
41-bed medical/surgical telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:5-6

• Comprehensive case mix including diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, GI bleed, CVA, and post-surgical patients
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management
• Extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
• 24 hours of unit orientation provided
• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license

Minimum 2 years of recent medical/surgical and telemetry nursing experience
Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
Proficiency in remote telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV protocols (insulin, heparin), wound care including wound vacs, respiratory support (high flow nasal cannula, CPAP/BiPAP), blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, IV starts, PCA pumps, chest tube management, colostomy and feeding tube care, and hemodialysis management
Experience with isolation precautions and COVID patient care
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
