We understand both the retail and fulfillment side of the business, which makes us experts at managing warehouses, transitioning products, and interacting with customers.The Assistant Delivery Manager will assist the Delivery manager with delivery and warehouse operations in the assigned location. This position will help with managing, scheduling, routing, unloading, staging, and inventory processes. Compensation: $58,000-$64,500Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Acts as manager on duty when the Delivery Manager is absentAssists Delivery Manager monitor weekly reports to ensure financial objectives are being metAssists Delivery Manager monitor weekly settlements to ensure contractors' goals are being achievedAssists Delivery Manager to ensure all operations are operating in compliance with DOT and OSHA requirementsAssists the delivery department in accomplishing delivery and quality standardsCommunicates with stores, customers, contractors and Market Management dailyConducts ride behind and evaluations of contractors to determine skill levels and development opportunitiesCoordinates with customer service to ensure that all customers are satisfiedEnsures all claims are charged back to the appropriate driverEnsures that maintenance of all delivery and service vehicles are completedEnsures the scheduling department achieves all daily shipping goalsEstablishes and maintains a positive working relationship with all team members and other store personnelManages routing team to include cost control and efficiencyOversees accurate and efficient loading of all vehicles for the delivery of retail home products to the end consumer (last mile)Oversees the warehouse and inventory control processes to ensure the inventory's integrity is maintainedRequirements include:Ability to work a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidaysHigh School Diploma or equivalent educationKnowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and OutlookPossess effective written and verbal communicationPrevious experience in Warehouse or Distribution operationsValid Driver's LicenseUST Logistical Systems provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
