Qualifications Current RN licensure in the state of employment
ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas
Unit-specific certifications may be required
Evaluate physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs while collaborating with the healthcare team.
Develop care plans: Work with patients and families to create personalized care plans that prioritize patient needs and goals.
Deliver patient care: Provide evidence-based care, educate patients and families, and implement interventions according to hospital policies and procedures.
Monitor patient responses and adjust care based on outcomes and evidence-based practices.
Work with the Clinical Manager to develop and evaluate Performance Improvement initiatives and support better patient outcomes.
Promote High Reliability: Use High Reliability principles and data to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Motivate, educate, delegate, and mentor peers and team members while effectively managing patient care.
Document care: Accurately document the nursing process, plan of care, education, updates, and patient and family responses in the EMR.
Follow organizational and department policies and complete required training and educational requirements.
