Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
Ability to adapt and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
Comfortable creating and following treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining thorough documentation
Responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating students' physical abilities alongside a supervising Physical Therapist
Implement individualized therapy plans and track progress toward goals
Provide direct support and interventions to help students participate in school activities
Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt activities for students' needs
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
Educate school staff and families on exercises or activities that support each child's physical growth
