Transportation Services Unloader

Position Purpose: Responsible for loading, unloading, transporting and positioning materials to and from various sites on the rooftop of residential homes and commercial buildings while upholding the company’s standards for outstanding customer service and operational excellence.

Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
Facilitate the safe and effective distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs as per company safety guidelines.
Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained and certified) to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops.
Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
Work closely with drivers and other team members to coordinate efficient loading and unloading processes.

Work is primarily outdoors and on rooftops, with exposure to various weather conditions.
Safety equipment such as hard hats, safety harnesses, and gloves is required.
Reliable transportation for commuting.

Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, along with a pre-employment drug test.
~ Proficient in verbal and written communication in English. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Availability to work Monday through Friday with the potential for overtime based on delivery schedules and peak seasons.
~ Forklift certification preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
