Head of Project Management

Project Manager IIPAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead the successful delivery of Renewable high-voltage transmission line and substation construction projects.In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through closeout while ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, cost control, and client satisfaction. You will work closely with field leadership, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver utility infrastructure projects that power communities safely and reliably.Up to 75% travel required - mainly Monday through Friday. Lead Project ExecutionManage transmission and substation construction projects from award through final turnover.Oversee pre-construction planning, scheduling, procurement, construction execution, commissioning, and closeout.Partner with Superintendents and field teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality construction.Conduct site visits and participate in safety meetings and reviews.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, contract requirements, and utility standards.Manage Financial PerformanceDevelop and maintain project budgets, cost forecasts, and productivity tracking.Monitor labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs.Identify risks early and implement corrective action plans to protect project margins.Drive Schedule & Resource PlanningDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules using approved scheduling tools.Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material deliveries to meet milestones.Pro-actively resolve schedule conflicts and field challenges.Serve as Client LiaisonAct as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and stakeholders.Lead project meetings and provide clear status reporting.Manage scope changes, negotiate change orders, and maintain strong client relationships.Ensure Documentation & QualityOversee RFIs, submittals, daily reports, change management, and project closeout documentation.Maintain accurate reporting in company project management systems.Ensure quality control processes are followed throughout construction.All other duties assigned by management.Preferred Experience & Technical Knowledge (Open to Training Right Candidates)3-5+ years of experience in transmission and/or substation construction.Proven experience managing utility-scale infrastructure projects.Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and cross-functional project teams.Leadership & Communication SkillsDemonstrated ability to lead field and office teams effectively.Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.Tools & SystemsProficiency in construction management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, or similar systems) preferred.Strong reporting and project controls capabilities.Education & CredentialsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).Ability to travel to project sites within surrounding regions as required.PMP certification required within 60 days of hire.Must be based in or willing to relocate to the metro area.100% employer-paid health care benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for you and your dependents100% employer-paid basic life insurance100% employer-paid disability benefits401(k) retirement plan with matching contributionPaid Time Off (sick and vacation)Paid HolidaysTuition AssistanceWellness and Mental Health ProgramsLearning and Development ProgramsPAR Electrical Contractors, LLC does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
