Position Details:

Location: St. Joseph's South Hospital – Riverview, Florida
Status: Full-time
Shift: 3:30pm-11pm
Days: Monday – Friday / Occasional Weekends
Responsibilities

Responsible for inspecting, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment and circuits.
Must perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Electrical and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.
May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Required: High School or Equivalent
Preferred: Technical
Must obtain the OSHA 10-hour certification within 90 days.
Experience

Required: 3 Years experience as an Electrician
Preferred: 1 Year High-rise Electrical system
Preferred: 1 Year Mechanical system
