GM Parts Counter Specialist

Mangino Buick GMC is currently seeking a skilled and experienced GM Parts Counter Specialist to join our team! We're looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of automotive parts and accessories who can confidently assist both retail and internal customers with their needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in GM parts, prior CDK system experience, and a customer-first attitude.

Solid computer and phone skills are essential, and prior experience in automotive parts sales is a plus. This is a full-time position that includes a weekly salary plus a monthly bonus.

Assist retail customers, wholesale customers and service technicians in identifying and ordering the correct parts in a timely and courteous manner

Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish

Respond to phone inquiries with pricing, availability, and detailed product information

Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal departments and external clients

Accurately pull, stage, and fulfill parts orders from inventory

Alert the Parts Manager to any urgent stock shortages or supply issues

Communicate with customers about the status of their order

Consistent with follow-up with the internal and external customers

Inform service advisors and customers when special-order parts arrive

Coordinate with the body shop to ensure complete and timely delivery of all parts

Tag and organize parts for delivery with proper job numbers and customer identification

Ensure internal parts requests are correctly charged to service repair orders

Be able to read and understand the electronic parts catalog

Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as necessary
