Front Desk Receptionist (Part Time, Weekend Shifts)

Front Desk Clerk
The Front Desk Clerk of the Edgewood Center (EC) is responsible for coordinating entry and exit to the building of all residents, guests and vendors. Front Desk also provides access to the building for any inspectors or emergency personnel, and directs them to the area where they are needed.
Front Desk personnel do not act as security officers, but do report to the Assistant Manager or the Manager any concerns or activities they see that might be disruptive to the community.
CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time, Hourly/ Non-Exempt
SHIFT: Saturday and Sunday, 8 Hours each day. (Specific Shift to be determined)
COMPENSATION: $19-20 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Front Desk staff should be ready to contact 9-1-1 if they see or hear any emergency problems.
Front Desk staff answers the Front Desk phone and directs those calls.
Front Desk personnel maintain a copy of the building rules and regulations to be available to residents or inspectors as requested.
Front Desk personnel interface with the US Postal mail carrier, receive the daily mail, and insert the mail into the designated mailbox.
Front Desk personnel interface with UPS or other package delivery services, and alert the management office and the resident unit of any packages that are delivered.
Front Desk staff participates in monthly staff meetings and receives any new direction from the Assistant Manager or the Manager.
Front Desk staff should direct any and all resident requests, issues, questions, rent payments, problems, or maintenance issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager. Front Desk staff does not handle any of those issues.
Requirements
Reports To: Assistant Manager of Edgewood Center
The Front Desk Clerk must be mature, highly organized, calm, and able to follow all property rules and policies. Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with residents, vendors, contractors and other staff members.
Preferred
~ Bilingual or multilingual skills.
