Pediatric Anesthesiology

Hospital-based anesthesia care

Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts

Weekly Estimated Pay: $11,290 - $11,900

Clinical Environment: 26 anesthesia rooms with physician supervision of CRNAs at a 1:4 ratio

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Completion of an approved residency in Anesthesiology

Board certification or fellowship training required

Active physician license eligible for practice in Texas

ECFMG and FLEX credentials as applicable

At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience preferred

Comfort managing pediatric cases and neuraxial/regional anesthesia techniques

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care

Direct and coordinate activities in the anesthesia department as needed

Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and review patient history before procedures

Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and plans with patients and families as appropriate

Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Support safe, efficient care across general, neuro, ortho, OB, and pediatric case types

Collaborate with CRNAs and the anesthesia care team to promote high-quality patient outcomes
