We're committed to maintaining high standards of care, supporting our employees, and building professional relationships based on accountability, respect, integrity, and teamwork.Position SummaryGenesys Health Alliance is seeking an experienced and highly professional Human Resources Manager to oversee and support the organization's human resources functions. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work from home while requiring regular on-site availability at our Cartersville, Georgia office.The Human Resources Manager will serve as a trusted resource for employees and leadership, providing guidance throughout the employee lifecycle. This position is responsible for overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, leave management, workers' compensation, compliance, training, and HR policy implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support the organization's day-to-day human resources functionsPartner with leadership to ensure HR practices support the organization's operational goals and workplace cultureManage recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment requirementsOversee employee onboarding, orientation, status changes, and offboarding processesProvide guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, performance expectations, and workplace concernsAddress employee relations matters promptly, fairly, and professionallyConduct or support workplace investigations and maintain appropriate documentationCoordinate performance-management processes, including evaluations, coaching, corrective actions, and performance-improvement plansSupport benefits enrollment, employee communications, and coordination with benefits providersOversee Family and Medical Leave Act matters, including eligibility determinations, required notices, documentation, leave tracking, employee communication, and return-to-work coordinationOversee other applicable medical, personal, military, and legally protected leave programs in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsOversee workers' compensation claims, including injury reporting, claim documentation, communication with employees and insurance carriers, and return-to-work coordinationWork with leadership and appropriate providers to support reasonable accommodations, workplace restrictions, and transitional-duty arrangementsMaintain accurate, confidential, and legally compliant personnel files and HR recordsTrack employee licenses, certifications, required training, background screenings, and other employment documentationDevelop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, job descriptions, and employee communicationsMonitor compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirementsSupport HR needs for employees working across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and VirginiaPrepare HR reports and analyze employee data, staffing trends, turnover, and other workforce metricsCoordinate employee training, professional development, and workplace-engagement initiativesSupport compensation reviews and help maintain consistent employment practicesPromote a respectful, professional, and positive workplace cultureParticipate in HR audits, strategic initiatives, and special projectsMaintain strict confidentiality of employee, medical, and business informationPerform other related duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferredFive or more years of progressive human resources experience preferredPrevious experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or in a similar human resources roleWorking knowledge of federal and state employment laws and accepted HR practicesExperience handling employee relations concerns, workplace investigations, corrective actions, and performance managementExperience administering FMLA, other protected leave programs, workplace accommodations, and workers' compensation claimsExperience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, policy development, and employee recordkeepingStrong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to manage sensitive employee matters with professionalism, fairness, discretion, and good judgmentExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TeamsExperience using human resources information systems, applicant tracking systems, and electronic recordkeeping systemsReliable transportation and the ability to report to the Cartersville office as requiredPreferred QualificationsHuman resources experience within a healthcare organizationExperience supporting employees and operations in multiple statesExperience working in a regulated or compliance-focused environmentSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certificationWork EnvironmentThis is a hybrid position that combines remote work with scheduled on-site responsibilities at the Genesys Health Alliance office in Cartersville, Georgia.The selected candidate must maintain a reliable and professional home workspace and be available to work in the
