Temp/Travel -Registered Nurse (RN) HOME HEALTH (Nights)

Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Los Angeles, California. Weekly pay: $2,199–$2,334 per week with 48 guaranteed hours. Shift: Night shift, 3×12s (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Work setting: home healthcare – hospice. This is a travel temporary assignment with EPIC experience required for backfill coverage.

• Contract duration: Shift: Night shift, 3×12 hours (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Home healthcare – hospice
• EPIC experience required within the last 12 months (backfill assignment)

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an identified patient or patient group according to established standards and the nursing process.

• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment information, and develop an evidence-based plan of care.
• Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; California Registered Nurse license (current) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor (per policy) required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) training required
• Minimum two years of recent RN experience in the field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
