Pub Server-Seasonal

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Servers to join our team at Homefield Pub and Social in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant and play a critical role in providing excellent service to our guests.

the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Greet guests, provides menus, clearly communicates restaurant specials, answers questions about menu items, collects food and beverage orders, serves items ordered, and attends to guests' needs throughout their visit

Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system so that kitchen staff can prepare food and bar staff can prepare drinks, as needed

Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all alcohol service policies and procedures

Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff

Ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and working properly

Must be at least 18 years old

Previous experience as a server or similar guest service position strongly preferred

Previous experience with a point-of-sale system in service or hospitality environment preferred (MICROS experience preferred)

Ability to complete required pre-employment food safety and alcohol service training

Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names, as well as basic wine knowledge

Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly

Ability to lift, balance and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 pounds

Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks

Ability to stand or walk for the entire length of shift; Shift details
