Food Runner Part & Full Time Shifts

We are seeking a Food Runner who will ensure that food is delivered promptly, presented beautifully, and served with professionalism. You will work closely with servers and kitchen staff to create seamless dining experiences that keep our guests coming back again and again.
Part of the Milwaukee-based Marcus Hotels & Resorts portfolio, HOTEL PASEO offers guests a distinctive desert retreat featuring 150 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites, many showcasing breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains and palm-lined landscape. We have opportunities for both full time and part time associates.
Set up all garnishes for dishes, assemble trays and stock bread.
Responsible for set-up and break-down of station at the beginning and end of shift.
Communicate with servers and kitchen associates to ensure total guest satisfaction.
Serve food to tables if needed.
Remove all dirty dishes from kitchen and/or server areas.
Assist with food running to ensure food quality.
Assist servers to ensure guest satisfaction.
clean guest spills and clean/stock/sweep/mop all storage areas.
Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient for the associate to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.
Sufficient manual dexterity of hands in order to use a knife, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, tap kegs, and extend arms overhead to stock items.
Ability to carry a food tray through a crowded room.
