ENSTAR is on a mission to deliver safe and reliable natural gas to Alaskans. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play an essential role within our Human Resources department, reporting to the Human Resources Manager. Recruitment & Hiring Support

Assist with recruitment activities such as job postings, interview scheduling, and applicant communication.
Initiate and track background checks and pre-employment testing.
HRIS & Employee Data

Enter, update, and maintain employee information in the HRIS system (JD Edwards).
Maintain employee personnel files in accordance with company policy.
Assist employees with routine HR questions and requests.
Respond to general HR calls and emails or elevate as needed.
Administrative & Organizational Support

Support miscellaneous HR programs and administrative duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED
One year of work in an administrative support role preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Safe Driving Policy.
Ability to pass a background, past employment, drug screening, and driving record screening.
Knowledge of basic administrative and human resources functions; Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
Good working knowledge of various personal computer business software applications presently used by ENSTAR and ability to learn new systems or software packages as necessary.
