IMMEDIATE HIRE FOR REGISTERED NURSE / RN SHIFT CARE

Registered Nurse - HVI Pre & Post
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shifts to be worked can be a combination of three of the following 12-hour shifts per week, including one 0800-2030 shift:

0500-1730
0600-1830
0700-1930
0800-2030
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our HVI Pre & Post unit. The position will involve caring for patients undergoing anesthesia recoveries and sedation. The unit handles a variety of cases, including cardiac procedures, vascular surgeries, and thoracic interventions.
Responsibilities:

Administer post-anesthesia care for both outpatient and inpatient cases.
Monitor patient recovery in Phase 1 and Phase 2 settings with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios:
Pre-op: 1:3
Phase 1: 1:2
Phase 2: 1:3

Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Manage emergency situations requiring immediate care.
Document patient information and progress using the EPIC electronic medical records system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience required; cardiac experience preferred.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA).
