RN MedSurg Day Shift

ARMS Staffing

Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Telemetry - 12 Hour Shifts
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in various skills and have prior experience in charge nursing roles.
Responsibilities

Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and practices.
Monitor patient conditions and make critical decisions regarding care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Assist in procedural interventions as required.
Handle patient transfers and the discharge process efficiently.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience in an acute care or telemetry setting.
Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Experience using the Epic charting system is required.
