We are seeking a health care attorney with expertise in PBM and pharmacy operations and contract structuring. This Senior Counsel role is responsible for providing counsel on a wide range of matters related to PBM and pharmacy services, including regulatory compliance; contract drafting, negotiation, and management; and risk management.

Provide legal support for strategic initiatives, including contract negotiations with pharmaceutical manufacturers and ERISA self-funded employee welfare benefit plans.

Provide legal guidance on federal and state regulatory compliance.

Advise on risk exposure, mitigation strategies, and legal implications of commercial initiatives.

Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory changes.

Support audits, investigations, and responses to regulatory inquiries.

Juris Doctorate degree from a ABA accredited school law school

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently under general supervision and in team settings
• Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
