Head of Operations & Business Management

Overview BigIron is seeking an Auction Operations Manager to lead and support our auction operations team. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day auction processes, ensuring data accuracy, maintaining compliance standards, and providing operational support to internal teams and customers. The Auction Operations Manager works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Lenders, Buyers, Sellers, and other departments to ensure auction listings move through the process accurately and on schedule. This will be a hybrid role out of our Omaha, Nebraska office with travel once a week to our Saint Edward office. Occasional travel to other company locations within the United States is required as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities Manage and support the daily activities of the auction operations team.

Maintain accurate records and update internal systems, including HubSpot and other company software.

Approve and publish auction listings and lots to the company website in accordance with established procedures.

Track departmental metrics and prepare reports related to team performance and operational activity.

Ensure team members complete required training and provide ongoing coaching and development.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.

equivalent combination of education and related work experience will be considered.

5+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.

Experience in operations, customer service, administrative support, or a related business environment preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Experience using CRM or business systems such as HubSpot is preferred.
