Position Overview

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a key player in our dedicated imaging team. Description of Responsibilities

Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear explanations infused with empathy

Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images

Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately

Carefully track and document procedures while ensuring compliance through our electronic medical record system

Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline

Preferably completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

High level of technical skill in sonographic imaging and patient positioning

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
