Dental Assistant

With over 35 years of serving our community, our growing team is at the heart of this mission. We believe healthcare is about more than treating illness; In an effort to allow for the best patient care results, the Dental Assistant primarily assists Dentists with primary patient care services.

Assists dentist with treatment and care of dental patients

Offers chairside assistance to dentists for patient care services and other dental procedures

Serves as a primary point of contact for patients upon introduction and entry to the dental clinic

Provides dual customer service efforts to the dentist and to dental patients

Expected to have dental set-up ready when dentist enters room

Performs special treatment procedures in the areas of Pedodontic, Endodontic, Prosthetic, Periodontic dentistry

Sterilizes and prepares all dental instruments, equipment, and other materials for daily use

Completes daily spore tests, cleaning, x-ray processing equipment, and dental evacuation traps

Education and Experience: Required: High school diploma/GED. Required: Dental assistant certification, EDDA preferred. Previous experience working as a dental assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.

Material and equipment directly used: Enters patient data into computer via use of EMR database system, general dental instruments and equipment, x ray technology, computer, printer, multi-line telephone systems, fax machine, copy machine, calculator, and all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and the internet.

Working environment/physical activities: Office environment within a clinical setting. Enters data into computer programs via computer, mouse and keyboard. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

We offer a competitive hourly range of $22.62 - $26.50, depending on your experience.
