Call Requirements: No
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Special Skills/Experience required:

• 2 Years +
• Hemodynamic monitoring- swans, art lines
• Ventilator management
• Strong critical thinking skills
• 2 years or more ICU experience

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed:

IABP exposure
CRRT exposure
Meditech charting/ order entry – Preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:
ACTIVE TX RN License – NO TEMP LICENSE ACCEPTED
Procedures performed on unit:

Post CABG
Post VAD
Post Cath with various cardiac support devices- IABP, Impella, ecmo
Dress Code:
Scrub Color: RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
