Hillcrest Hospital's 3 West Tower Complex Medical Care unit is known for their outstanding communication skills and top-quality patient care. This unit cares for adult and geriatric patients undergoing general, pancreatic/liver, and urology surgeries. As an RN in this unit, you will help ensure patients have the care they need quickly. All the while, your fellow caregivers will assist you, offering a cohesive, encouraging and constructive front to enhance the patient's experience and your skills as a nurse.
A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts.
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
External applicants: two years of recent experience in an acute care setting
Internal applicants with less than two years' experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period, could be considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
Will consider military RN experience
Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
