Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a highly skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in handling both pediatric and adult patients. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care in a fast-paced endoscopy unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.ScheduleThis position offers block scheduling, with the option to select 3 consecutive days of your choice from Monday to Friday. There are no weekend requirements. Guaranteed hours include:8 and 10 hour shifts - 40 hours in one workweek3, 12-hour shifts - 36 hours in one workweek4, 12-hour shifts - 48 hours in one workweekResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 patient care during endoscopic proceduresAdminister care in pre/post-operative as well as intra-procedural phasesFloat to Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as neededMaintain accurate patient records and documentation using CernerQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in Endoscopy requiredCurrent certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALSExperience with pediatric cases and use of Cerner and Bronchoscopy within the last 2 yearsAbility to work on-call, including one weekday evening and one weekend shift every six weeksFacility HighlightsType of Facility: Short-Term Acute CareTotal Staffed Beds: 153Charting System: CernerParking: FreeSpecial RequirementsMust be capable of providing care for a high volume of pediatric patients (0 months - 18 years) from Monday to ThursdayKnowledge in Upper & Lower GI procedures, Bronchoscopy, and Pain Management is preferredMust be flexible with scheduling and willing to accommodate facility needsHoliday RequirementsClinicians are required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.If you are an experienced Endoscopy RN looking for an exciting opportunity, we encourage you to apply!
