Sales Engineer (SaaS) Requirements & Qualifications
5-7+ years of experience in a sales engineer, solutions engineer, or pre-sales role within a SaaS environment.
Strong technical foundation in areas such as APIs, data architecture, cloud platforms, and systems integrations.
Direct experience working with digital publishers, media companies, or relevant technologies like paywalls, ad tech, or audience data platforms.
Confident communication and presentation skills with technical and commercial stakeholders.
Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and complex deal structures.
Sales Engineer (SaaS) Preferred Background & Skills
Ability to influence and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.
Sales Engineer (SaaS) Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Partner with the sales team to support the full sales cycle from discovery to close.
Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and system constraints.
Design and present solution architectures aligned to customer needs.
Collaborate with product and engineering to relay customer feedback and help shape the product roadmap.
Support smooth handoff to customer success teams for post-sale transition.
