As a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Operating within ASAM levels 1.0 (Outpatient), 2.1 (Intensive Outpatient Program - IOP), and 2.5 (Partial Hospitalization Program - PHP), you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans. Your efforts will support clients on their path to recovery, ensuring all interventions are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with the latest clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

Facilitate engaging, evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions focused on recovery and relapse prevention.
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
Current Virginia Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification.
Proficiency in clinical documentation, treatment planning, and use of electronic health records.
Full-time, in-person position based at our Roanoke location.
