Job Description HR Coordinator & Amp
Shift: 1st 5:00AM-3:00PM Monday through Friday but must be available on the weekends
Under the direction of the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for routine employee inquiries, both in person and over the phone, regarding benefits, employee relations, recruitment, and company programs. This role provides administrative support to the HR Manager and Human Resources team while helping ensure efficient day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, bilingual in English and Spanish, and able to maintain confidentiality while supporting employees at all levels of the organization.
Assist with recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews and checking applicant references
Coordinate and process drug screens and background checks for new hires
Prepare offer letters and explain company policies, procedures, and benefits to employees
Process new hire paperwork and conduct new hire orientation
Coordinate open positions with staffing agencies and manage temporary employee processes
Track and submit temporary employee hours to staffing agencies
Provide receptionist backup support by answering phones and assisting vendors entering the facility
Assist with administering employee benefits and training initiatives
Assist with planning and coordinating company events including health fairs, employee recognition events, holiday celebrations, and company functions
Promote consistency in company policies, procedures, and guidelines
Support additional HR and administrative duties as assigned
Saturday work may be required based on business needs
Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources or administrative experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Standing and walking less than one-third of the workday
Sitting more than two-thirds of the workday
Frequent use of hands for typing, handling documents, and office equipment
