Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Duration: 6+ Months
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for patient specimen collection, phlebotomy, and processing while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires accurate blood draws, proper specimen handling, and maintaining patient confidentiality and safety standards.
Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for clinical and forensic testing
Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Provide professional and compassionate patient interaction
Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures
Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
Strong pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills preferred
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
Keyboard/data entry experience required
Medical assistant, paramedic training, or phlebotomy certification preferred
Weekend availability required as part of scheduled shift rotation
