Nurse Supervisor- Health Care

Overview We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team. In this role, you will oversee the daily nursing operations, manage a team of nursing professionals, and ensure the highest level of care for our residents. Your leadership will be key in promoting quality care, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.

Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents and families.

Provide information to residents and staff by answering questions and requests.

Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.

Plan, organize and direct the resident activities of the Nursing Department assigned.

Utilize the 24 Hour Report sheet to review with incoming and outgoing RN Supervisory Staff.

Coordinate the services of nursing staff with differentiated but interrelated responsibilities to ensure residents receive the best possible care.

Conduct assessments of all residents who have incidents and complete reports timely.

Report and record, in precise and detailed manner, information regarding residents’ response to therapy according to established guidelines.

Attend seminars, conferences and workshops relating to nursing/resident care to keep abreast of current issues.

Take and receive report regarding resident information to the Oncoming RN Supervisor.

Report any adverse conditions, incidents and resident-related emergencies to DNS/Designee.

Participate as a member of various committees relating to interdisciplinary functions of the facility.

Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license

Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and resident care standards.

Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of nursing professionals.
