NOX Innovations is now hiring a Material Handler. This person will assist in and/or perform under supervision of all aspects of fabrication to support the construction industry. They will be tasked with miscellaneous tasks including but not limited to material handling assembly of prefabricated systems, and other general labor tasks. This position will require mechanical aptitude, mathematical skills, and literacy skills to meet the position's primary needs.
Fabrication & Assembly: Operate machinery (including but not limited to drilling/deburring hand tools, welders, cutters, grinders, hydraulic CNC equipment) to fabricate parts and assemble components according to specifications.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the materials, dimensions, and procedures needed for fabrication.
Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Material Handling: Prepare and organize materials needed for the fabrication process, including cutting and shaping metals, plastics, and composites.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, production schedules, and inventory usage.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabrication processes, machinery, or materials.
Perform jobsite housekeeping and general labor
Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and material quantities.
Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods. Previous experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or mechanical environment is preferred. Experience with welding, cutting, or machine operation is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in fabrication or welding are advantageous.

Safety Level This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.
Potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
