Job Description:
RN for the step-down unit (high acuity stepdown unit) / Progressive care.
Responsibilities:

Floating to cardiac surgery IMC, med-tele, med-surg, ortho-neuro areas.
Maintaining physical assessments, intake, and output every 4 hours.
Conducting hourly safety rounds and providing patient positioning and ADLs every two hours as indicated.
Ensuring bedside handoffs are mandatory.
Requirements:
Must have 1 year of step-down ICU/IMC/PCU experience.
Must have 1 year of telemetry/cardiac monitoring experience.
Must hold an AK RN license; temporary licensing not accepted.
AK RN fingerprints must be completed during onboarding.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIH-SS.
Preferred experience with trach patients on continuous BiPap/long-term vent support.
Experience with titratable drips and CIWA assessments preferred.
