Maintenance Technician/Handy Man

CAMS (Community Association Management Services), HOA Management company is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician/Handy Man to perform general maintenance/projects and Lifestyle event set-ups at a community in Wilmington, NC.

Hours of Work: 16 hours/week flexible days and hours are required

Hourly Rate: $15 per hour

Assist the Facilities Manager and perform assigned work orders promptly

Perform preventative maintenance task to maintain the physical integrity of the property

Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors of the Del Webb Amenity Center

Follow up on service requests and communicate with managers for the highest quality of customer service

Assist with maintenance of tennis courts daily, weekly and monthly

Power washing and general maintenance/upkeep of the property

Demonstrated aptitude for learning and applying mechanical, construction and/or maintenance skills

Exceptional attention to detail in executing precise furniture layouts, ensuring accurate spacing and alignment is a must.

Must be able to serve as a back up to the Facilities Manager when needed for emergencies promptly when on-call

Must have familiarity of plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems

Must have basic computer skills to input and complete work orders

Must have excellent communication skills to provide the highest quality of customer service

Ability to speak, read and write English
