Job Description
Vascular Access Nurse
Schedule
DAYS - 8HR: 7:30a - 3:30p/5:30p (8 hour or 10-hour shift; varied to make 36 hours per week). One weekend shift per contracted week.
Assignment Details
Contract Weeks: 16
Requirements

• Active RN license in the state
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of recent experience
• Experience with vascular access devices
• Familiarity with EPIC for charting

Responsibilities
Insert, remove, manage, and care for vascular access devices
Assist patients with difficult vascular access
Perform IV placements, PICC placements, IVAD access, lab draws, and other vascular access maintenance
Work independently during weekends while ensuring communication with the Clinical Resource Administrator
Provide care for the patient receiving the procedure or vascular access service
