Role Description The Psychotherapist at Ellie Mental Health - Central NJ will be experienced to provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to clients with diverse backgrounds and presenting concerns. These full-time, on-site roles in Somerville, Flemington, and Skillman NJ include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions. Day-to-day responsibilities involve maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in case consultations and supervision. The Psychotherapist offers a safe and inclusive therapeutic environment, supports clients through their emotional journeys, and contributes to program development and community outreach as needed.
Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, including understanding of diagnoses, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices.
Knowledge of Medicine as it relates to mental health, including psychopharmacology basics and coordination of care with medical providers.
Relevant master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related mental health field.
LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) or supervised status working toward independent licensure.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and engage in regular supervision and professional development.
