URGENT Registered Nurse Position - Cardiac

Provide specialized nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit with a focus on cardiac patient stabilization and monitoring. Ensure efficient patient management and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
Administer primary nursing care to cardiac patients, including telemetry monitoring and assessment.
Read and interpret telemetry strips to detect arrhythmias and other cardiac issues.
Monitor fingerstick blood sugar levels and document findings accurately.
Utilize medical equipment such as BIPAP, continuous cardiac monitors, Meditech charting, and Pyxis medication system.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float to various acute hospital units as needed.
Follow scheduled shift hours with no guaranteed hours and adhere to unit dress code in scrubs.

Minimum of 1 year recent hospital acute care experience, including telemetry and progressive care.
Demonstrate proficiency in primary nursing, telemetry monitoring, and equipment usage.
Ability to float across various hospital departments, including ICU, surgical, pediatric, and ER units.
