The nanny will work directly with the family, and the father will be responsible for compensation and the working relationship. About the FamilyThe father is legally blind and requires a nanny to be present during his visitation periods to assist with childcare, transportation, and daily routines. He will be present during regular care sessions.The children’s mother currently has primary custody and will participate in the introductory family meeting and approve the nanny selection.Responsibilities* Supervising, engaging with, and transporting the children* Managing routines, transitions, meals, snacks, baths, and personal care* Planning age-appropriate activities, play, and outings* Reading and managing bedtime and morning routines* Driving the children to and from school when applicable* Grocery shopping or ordering child-related supplies* Providing overnight care* Working closely with the father while encouraging family bonding* Maintaining a safe, positive, and nurturing environmentGeneral housekeeping is not required. Transportation & SchoolThe family has a purchased and insured vehicle specifically for the nanny to use when transporting the children. The nanny will not use their personal vehicle for childcare transportation.School hours will provide downtime for the nanny to eat, reset, and complete child-related tasks as needed.Overnight Care DetailsThe twins generally sleep through the night.
