Home Care Companion Part Time or Full Time

Care Companion Brethren Care at Home Part Time or PRN | Days Pay: $14/hour to $15.80/hour $.75/hr Evening Shift Differential, $.50/hr Night Shift Differential, $1/hr Weekend Shift Differential (Territory is focused in the Ashland area) What You'll Do as a Care Companion:

Prepares specific food items following appropriate standards for food preparation, handling, and services.

Serves client meals ensuring the temperature, portions, and timeliness of the service.

Performs a variety of general cleaning duties for the entire house which includes but is not limited to: dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets.

Assists with all client needs for personal care services.

Attends and participates in Brethren Care At Home team meetings as required.

Attends in-services outside of Brethren Care Village and/or Brethren Care At Home for support and needs of the client

Requirements for a Care Companion:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Training in geriatrics (nursing, social work, rehabilitation or therapeutic recreation) or sufficient related prior work experience is preferred but not required.
