This is a WEEKEND Bonus program ONLY. Power Weekend Shifts are only those shifts worked between 6:00 a.m. Saturday and 6:00 a.m. Your regularly scheduled shifts will be 12 hours, which includes one 30 minute unpaid lunch break (11 ½ hours total clock time).
You will be eligible for weekly overtime only if you work over 40 regular hours in the work week.
You will receive a Bonus Payment equal to 8 hours of pay at my base hourly rate for each Weekend that you meet all of the following requirements:

• You work at least 23 hours of your regularly scheduled Power 12 Weekend shifts, and 2. You work each entire scheduled Power Weekend shift (i.e. you do not call off or leave early from your Power 12 Weekend shift). You will be considered Part Time for purposes of employee benefit eligibility. Employees must consistently work 30 hours or more per week to qualify for Full Time benefits. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing for the daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the resident. This includes providing professional assessments and documentation of the resident's health and assisting with management of the assigned nursing units and staff.

Participating in the development and implementation of resident care plans, maintaining up to date nursing care plans, documenting progress and making recommendations for revisions to care plans (MDS) according to facility policy and procedure;
Making daily and periodic resident visits for monitoring and observing the residents' physical/mental condition;
Performing routine nursing procedures while working closely with physicians and families to maintain the health/mental state of the resident;
Providing emotional support to the resident and their families and be able to handle resident and/or visitor complaints, allegations, accidents or incidents that may occur;
Providing medical record documentation, completing 24 hour reports, end of shift reports, shift narcotic counts and documenting the destruction of outdated/discontinued medications; &
Maintaining up-to-date resident medical records.
Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid RN license in good standing according to State and Federal requirements.
Have a thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective nursing practices within the State of Florida.
Basic Computer knowledge and skills.
Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and other personnel.
The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word and Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines.
