Hospitalist Physician - Night Shift

Role: Hospitalist in a hospital setting providing inpatient care on the Gulf Coast.

Responsibilities

Manage patient admissions, with NPs handling the majority of admits.

Provide inpatient clinical care with a focus on patient satisfaction and length of stay.

Participate in rapid response and code team activities.

Work in an open ICU with pulmonary intensivists as primary caregivers.

Maintain clinical autonomy within a financially sound health system.

Schedule & Compensation

• 18 shifts per month, with varied shifts including afternoons and overnight.
• Compensation includes a $305 daily base, $25K bi-annual bonus based on performance, a $15K sign-on, and $10K moving expenses.
• No PTO offered; typical patient load of 20-22 per shift.

Qualifications & Skills

Prefer Internal Medicine background; Family Medicine accepted with hospitalist experience.

Must not require visa sponsorship.

Proficiency in EMR (Cerner) is preferred.
