Client Test & Evaluation is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support Flight test in Tukwila, WA. The Flight test Manufacturing Engineer is an assembly and installation engineer within Client Test and Evaluation (BT&E) that supports installation planning by providing design review, manufacturing plan authorship, fabrication sourcing (inside and outside of Client ), interface with procurement (including tracking), and supports during the build/installation.

The primary focus of this position is to lead, manage and support flight test design & planning efforts located in Tukwila, WA. These efforts represent a wide variety of development airplane programs primarily in support of Client Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Commercial Derivative Aircraft (MS&B).

Manufacturing Engineers are owners of the build plan and ensure compliance to design configuration and process requirements, Manufacturing Engineering performs Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) analysis and develops an integrated build plan consisting of work instructions for assembly/fabrication, kitting, tooling, inspection requirements, and other outputs to endure fabrication meets design, test, and program requirements.
Leads and works with Test Project Management, Design Engineering, and Program IE to develop and maintain integrated build plans.

• Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
• Coordinates with fabrication personnel and lead coordination with procurement/supplier management personnel.
• Works across groups to coordinate and track part status and shipping with supplier management and MMO.
• Develops and documents BT&E ME process and tools for Flight test programs, new job practices, techniques and standards.
• Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports.
• Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
• Helps develop schedule to align with integrated build plan, program needs, and fabrication capabilities.
• Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business requirements.
• Leads the creation of training material and tutorials for Design & Planning ME team.
