Travel Acute Care Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Hanford, California. Weekly pay range: $Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This assignment requires an RN with acute care ER experience, able to work in a high-volume environment on a temporary basis.
Weekly pay: $2,345–$2,404 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts
• Travel assignment in a short-term acute care facility
• EPIC and Cerner experience preferred for backfill needs

Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or an assigned group, following the nursing process and established standards.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; Supervise and direct nursing staff at varying levels; coordinate care with physicians, case management, discharge planning, and other disciplines.
• Document care and outcomes in EPIC and Cerner EMR systems; ensure accurate, timely charting and compliance with policies.
• participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care; promote a safe, healing environment and infection control practices.

Current, active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)

• other AH policies may apply
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
• EMR: Experience with EPIC and Cerner preferred; EPIC experience required for backfill
• Other: Ability to work night shifts in a high-volume ER and to adapt to a travel assignment environment
