Busser
The Busser is a key player in enhancing our guests' dining experience, responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized dining area. This role supports the service team by ensuring that tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, be well-organized, and possess excellent situational awareness.
Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering a superior dining experience by exceeding guest expectations and anticipating their needs.
Provide a friendly greeting to guests with a warm, sincere smile.
Handle guest challenges with tact and patience, ensuring issues are resolved to the guest's satisfaction.
Support the service team by assisting with the setup, service, and cleanup of food and beverages.
Adhere to all service protocols, including managing special dietary needs and allergy precautions.
Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations, following all cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Complete all tasks according to the guidelines and standards set out in the Employee Handbook.
Work cooperatively with all team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:

Experience in efficiently clearing and resetting tables, and transporting dirty dishes to the designated areas.
Available to effectively manage a section of tables.
Ability to safely maneuver furniture such as chairs, tables, highchairs, and booster seats.
Proficient in using all necessary cleaning tools and equipment.
Excellent communication skills for following verbal and written instructions.
Capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
Able to work in tight, noisy, and varying temperature conditions.
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand and walk during the entire shift, navigating through potential hazards.

Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery, the first Southerleigh restaurant, was launched by renowned Chef Jeff Balfour in April 2015. Located in the heart of one of the most valuable and recognizable modern-day developments in the U.S. called "Pearl", based on its late-1800's start as a beer production facility and now the jewel of the food scene in San Antonio, Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery, quickly became the recipe of success preparing smart exceptional comfort food and sought-after hand-crafted beers.
In August 2019, Southerleigh Hospitality Group announced plans to expand by replicating the successful blueprint to more locations in San Antonio. With the original restaurant and brewery in the heart of downtown San Antonio, new gathering places were selected in the northern and southern districts of the city. A new concept opened its doors in September 2020, Southerleigh Haute South, with two locations, first one in the fastest-growing commerce, life, and leisure destination in the northwest part of San Antonio known as the RIM and a second one in the up-and-coming community of Brooks on the Southeast side. Those friendly community locations will be home to the leading fried chicken fine-casual dining experience.
In November 2020, Southerleigh Hospitality Group is launching a new restaurant, Brasserie Mon Chou Chou that will feature quintessential French comfort food that showcases simple, earthy, flavorful dishes from regions throughout France. The menu at Mon Chou Chou will feature classic, but accessible, French comfort foods that will appeal to a range of guests.
