We are looking for a highly-motivated individual who genuinely loves working with people to join the team at our prototype Wonder World store in the Barton Creek Mall in Austin, TX.
As a Key Holder, you are a member of the Store Leadership Team and must embody what Wonder World stands for and be passionate about providing a positive, memorable experience for all Wonder World Customers and Associates.
Responsibilities of a Key Holder include, but are not limited to:
Lead by example in modeling energetic and engaging Customer service behaviors
Coaching peers in anticipating customer needs, encouraging purchase and in creating a store atmosphere that is fun!
Flawlessly executing merchandising standards and marketing events
Supporting the Store Manager in building and maintaining a store culture of continuous growth by holding yourself accountable for demonstrating Customer-centric selling behaviors and for individual sales contributions
Building team morale by celebrating successes
Partner in new-hire onboarding and in ensuring all team members have the information they need to create a fun in-store experience
Ensure day-to-day operations including opening/closing store protocols are completed to Wonder World standard
Understanding how to assess KPIs and link them to behaviors to make real-time decisions r.e. coaching others
Quantitatively link the consistent delivery of the Customer experience to the achievement of sales goals
Clearly and concisely share learnings with Home Office partners, always communicating with a solution-oriented mindset:
Customer insights regarding product assortment
Constructive feedback regarding in-store Events and/or visual merchandising/ product presentation
Running a Safe, Profitable and Entertaining Store
Ensuring all team members remain updated on company policies and store promotions and are competent in maximizing resources to improve Customer and Associate experiences
Consistently protect company assets through:
Loss Prevention training and maintaining Loss Prevention protocols
Following company policies
Managing store supply inventory

Genuine care for customers and a sense of curiosity to learn about their needs
Primary or Secondary Education Teaching
Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, and merchandising is a plus
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including but not limited to holidays, nights, and weekends
Ability to manage a sales floor by delegating tasks effectively, ensuring the sales floor remains appropriately stocked and visually merchandised stocked, Associates are Customer-focused and store atmosphere is reflective of Wonder World
